CtrlS receives Rs 250cr in Equity Funding
4 December 2008, Hyderabad : CtrlS datacenters Ltd, the pioneers in Tier 4 datacenters in India, today announced the completion of Rs. 250 Crore round of investment. CtrlS will invest this equity in expanding its datacenters capacity across 3 more cities in the country.
Sridhar Reddy, CMD, CtrlS, said, "We are now hopeful of meeting the existing and potential customers demand for more and more capacity. This infrastructure will help customers reduce costs, complexities and increase efficiencies in deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure." He further added' "Our datacenter is the only Tier 4 datacenter in India and in a very short span we have build a reputation of being the best services provider in the space. Our datacenter host services for some of the most prominent players in their respective industries . This equity investment provides the support and resources to aggressively target the potential market."
This investment attracted by CtrlS is one the biggest amount being raised in the datacenter space, so far, in the country.
CtrlS Datacenters Ltd. is promoted by the Rs. 750 Crore Pioneer Group along with IDBI and Och-Ziff — a global institutional asset management firm. CtrlS has been incorporated as a 100% subsidiary of the group company to handle the Internet Datacenter business. CtrlS is the pioneer in Tier 4 datacenters and is the only Tier 4 datacenter in the country. The Datacenter serves large multinational customers, financial institutions and telecom companies.
